We want you to join one of the best parts about being a student at Schindewolf Intermediate!

Being involved in band makes a big impact.

Music does more than just make sounds, it changes the way we think and act. The skills your child will learn in music will help them be successful on the stage, in the classroom, and for the rest of their lives.

Band is a place for you to belong.

Students make some of their best friends in the band. It's more than just being a part of an awesome group, it's about becoming part of a family.

At every level, Intermediate School, High School, and even in college, you'll have a place to belong in band.

In band, we're doing more than just learning an instrument

We're also learning the value of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and time managment. Plus, when you leave band, you take with you a valuable skill that sticks with you your whole life.

Remember, you don't need to have any prior experience to join band! Almost every single student that starts in band is learning a musical instrument for the first time!

Also, we never want cost to ever prohibit a student from being in band. Do you think cost may be an issue for joining band? Let us know and we can make it work for your family!

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Students that put band as their first choice on their course selection sheet will receive an email and letter in the mail inviting them to our instrument interviews happening around the beginning of April.

The instrument interviews are where we meet one on one to decide what instrument your student will play next year.
